Due to considerable interest in the club's first OD race, we have now reached full capacity and regretfully entries for the race have now closed.

END OF YEAR PRESENTATION (Posted 11/03/2012)
Come one come all to the RTC End Of Year Presentation (EOYP). This year the RTC are holding the EOYP at the Warrant Officer and Senior Sailors Mess (WOSSM) at HMAS Stirling on the 25th of March from 12 - 4pm. At the EOYP there will be awards for all the TRYSTARS that are registered, a free BBQ, there is a pool and a large area for play as well as access to the beach. Drinks of all varieties will be available at the bar at 1970's prices.

If you intend to be there, it is very important that you state your intention either by letting Lisa Schofield know at the SnD or Final Triathlon, or alternatively email Steven McConnachie at noochatsea@gmail.com This is due to the security on the base. If your name is not on the list you will not be allowed entry onto the base. This list will close on the 19th of Mar.

FIRST CLUB RACE FOR SEASON (Posted 14/12/2011)
This Sunday 18 Dec is our club's first Club Race for the season. (Please note that there have been several changes from last season's races, including starting times, distances and slight run course changes.) Details are as follows:
SENIORS                 - Registration at 7.00am for a 7.30am Start.
                               - Distances are Standard Course 300 / 16 / 3 and Short Course 150 / 9 / 1.5
                               - Race fees are: $5 - RTC Members, $10 - TWA Members, $30 - Non-members
JUNIOR TRYSTARS - Registration at 8.00am for a 8.30am Start (after the seniors finish)
                               - Distances are:
                                    7-9yo Short Course - 50 / 3 / 500m,
                                    10-11yo Medium Course - 100 / 6 / 1,
                                    12-15yo Long Course - 150 / 6 / 2
                               - Race fees are: $Nil - RTC Members, $Nil - TWA Members, $20 - Non-members

BICYCLE MAINTENANCE WORKSHOP (Posted 03/12/2011)
Avanti Cycles Rockingham will be holding a Bicycle Maintenance Workshop on Wednesday 7th December at 6pm at the shop - 2 Acute Court, Rockingham. The workshop is designed to assist adults and children wanting to learn the basic skills needed to look after their bike, and will cover the following:
        - Basic tools needed to work on your bike
        - Checking over your bike for problems
        - Tyre pressures
        - Types of tyres
        - How to change a tube/tyre
        - How to lube your bike
        - Basic brake tuning
        - Basic gear tuning
Light refreshments will be provided.
All participants will receive a goodie bag!
One lucky person will receive a $50 voucher to spend in store.

RTC CLOTHING ORDER (Posted 03/12/2011)
We are now taking orders for the following:
        Boys Tri Shorts    $30
        Girls Tri Suits      $45
        Girls Bathers       $40
        Ladies Tri Suits    $50
        Ladies Bathers    $45
We will be down at Splash n Dash next Friday 9th December to take orders and to try on sizes. Cash only, 100% payment required at time of ordering.
Boys Tri Tops - We have pre-ordered 20 Boys Tri Tops in various sizes - these are $45 each. If you want one, first in first served, so see us at Splash n Dash.
RTC Running Caps - We have also ordered more RTC running caps for those that missed out. $10 each.
White RTC Training Shirts - Our supplier has agreed to replace these T-shirts given the issues of fading. Can those that purchased a shirt please provide your details (i.e. name and size) at Splash n Dash and a replacement T-shirt will be arranged.
