TRYstars is our Juniors Program for kids aged 7–15 yo

TRYstars membership fee is: $100 (incl TWA fee)

To join our club you will need to do so via the TWA web site: TWA Membersip. You will need to select the Juniors category, and nominate Rockingham as your club. You will also have to join up as a TWA member as well (this is the case for all clubs).

Splash n Dash Races

When - Every Friday evening from 5.00pm (November - March)

Where - The car park on Rockingham Beach Road near Alexandra Street, Rockingham.

Distances - 

7-9 yo :    50m swim + 750m run
10-11yo:  100m swim + 1km run
12-15yo:  150m swim + 2km run

TRYstars Triathlon Races 2011/12

Race Start - 8:30am

Registration - From 8.00am

Entry Fee -  Club members: $Free
                                             Other triathlon Club Members: $Free
                 Non-members: $20*

* Non-members can compete in up to 2 races before they will need to join as a club member.

Who - All kids between 7 and 15yo. Come n Try it!!

Distances:

7-9 yo :    50m swim + 3km cycle + 500m run
10-11yo:  100m swim + 6km cycle + 1km run
12-15yo:  150m swim + 6km cycle + 2km run

Please note:

• Children swim parallel to the beach in waist deep water

• Roads are closed to traffic during triathlon events

• Safety marshals are positioned throughout the course during all races

What do I need to bring?

For the swim -

• Towel for drying off
• Goggles
• Bathers
• Swim cap (optional – good for swimming in cold water)
• Spare Water Bottle for squirting the sand off your feet after the swim

For the Bike -

• Bike
• Helmet
• Water bottle
• T-shirt or singlet
• Shoes & socks
• Put suntan lotion on before you start

For the Run -

• Shoes & socks
• Hat or cap
• T-shirt or singlet
